About Me

After 28 years of drug and alcohol addiction, a new way of life began to emerge for me. A life of purpose and meaning filled with hope and gratitude.

An awakening to the possibility of living a sober life came while I was serving time for my 3rd OUI. I was 42 years old with little hope for ever turning my life around so it came to me as quite a shock that while sitting in an auditorium filled with fellow inmates, I was able to receive a profound message from a gentleman who had long since gotten sober, changed his ways and was now there to share his experience, strength & hope of a life free from drugs and booze with a group of strangers.

I believe that this selfless act by an anonymous gentleman was a catalyst for a profound shift in my perceptions, leading me down a  more meaningful & spiritual path towards self-discovery.

Discovering Kambo

Las Vegas 2017

In September of 2017 I went to Las Vegas along with 2 friends to visit an Ibogaine Aftercare Clinic. We were there to see how this holistic facility was working towards helping people with substance use disorders attain sobriety.

We participated in many of the various modalities that are used to help achieve this goal including a hot yoga session, participating in a drum circle, attending a reiki session and finally being asked to participate in a Kambo Ceremony.

Our practitioner, an IAKP certified practitioner, arrived early to set up her alter and cleanse the space.

She then met with each of us, one on one for consultations and answered some of our questions. During the ceremony she held the space brilliantly.

It was a really beautiful ceremony but I did not care for kambo at all. 5 points and 20 minutes of torturous hell was enough for me. Never Again… or so I thought.

The days and weeks following the kambo ceremony, I began to really understand the benefits that it held and which I received. I was drawn to kambo & continue to be to this day.

I never could have imagined that I would have decided to not only begin to embrace Kambo but to later go on to become a trained practitioner.
